Welcome to My Journey–This Could Be Your Love Story.

My yesterdays of high heels, honeyed lips, perfumed sheets, and white powder—and all my worldly desires—are all vanished, and today I can say that falling in love with Jesus is the greatest emotion and the best high I ever experienced! I never knew passion like the passion I have for my God-given purpose!

                                  – Rose Anding Rose

Maria McCarthyAnding, now known only as Rose Anding, has thrown aside the Maria McCarthy name she was known by during those years living and hiding out on the other side of goodness.

Rose had owned businesses and cars and other things of value during this time, but most everything was lost to the expensive and ever-demanding drug habit. Ashamed of her lifestyle, she even segregated herself from her family, so often they never knew how much she was struggling.

Born in Mississippi during the late 1930s, she was one of eight children of hardworking parents. Her father later became a minister and started two churches, and her mother a God-fearing church lady.

Now clean of any addictions (except to help others) she is happily married to Josh Anding. Earlier marriages were to men who were unfaithful, and one was even very abusive, leading to her attempt at suicide. She has two wonderful children and two grandchildren from her first husband, and four special stepchildren she raised for several years and still keeps in touch.

“Rose’s story provides inspiration to those who are entrapped to become again the person that God wants them to be by establishing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.”

Rev. Dr. Joseph N. Simmons
Pastor, Evangelical Lutheran Church, Chicago, Illinois

The New Rose

Today Rose is working with others in the community to open a facility that is a free 24/7 treatment center for men and women adults who are working to free themselves from addiction. Rose has established a foundation honoring her parents to help fund this house and houses established in other cities through Early & Lettie Simmons Development Corporation.

Using her extensive business background in the financial industrues of banking, mortgages, lending, as well as her marketing savvy, Rose and her team have developed extensive Rose House Operational manuals to help others effectively duplicate her efforts. (For more information, see Rose House.)

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine Heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9-10).

Rose is now saved and out of Satan’s grasp…and is working hard to help others be saved.
